Compression

I have jumped on the compression bandwagon, folks, and I don't think I'll be climbing off anytime soon! It started with a few knee twinges - no real pain, just a tight feeling in my knee after a long run. I was also dealing with a lot of leg fatigue after long runs. So, I did a little research into some of the new high-tech running gear, and I found these:

And they are wonderful, and I love them. They are CW-X Pro running tights. According to the website (http://www.cw-x.com), the tights reduce fatigue and enhance recovery while helping to maintain stability. And they seem to work.

They are not inexpensive, but they seem very well-made. And feeling this good after a run? Priceless. I've got a 16-miler slated for this weekend - we'll see how the tights (and my legs!) hold up!

  2. Jill, they are great. Rather like putting on a wetsuit, though, and they take just a bit of getting used to. But my legs feel much better!

  5. How exciting! Have my own pair of compression tights that should be arriving this week. I went with the Sugoi piston 200's though. I can't wait to use them!
